Prior to Scott's transition to Professional
Life Coaching, Scott was a High School Teacher
for 8 years as well as the Head Track Coach and
the Assistant Football Coach.
Scott holds a Double Bachelor Degree from
The University of Michigan in
Economics and Communications.
He is highly trained and certified through
The Coaches Training Institute and offers you the highest of standards in Life Coaching.
During his lifetime, Scott has attended many
Educational Seminars and Personal
Growth Workshops!
Scott is continually evolving his knowledge
and education in the field and is always
learning new skills to share with his clients.
After living for so long in the pain of his own
destructive behaviors, poor choice making
and the fallout as a result,
he made a decision that would change
his life forever.
He turned his life over to God!
After surrendering to God, praying daily, participating in support groups, and completely committing himself to his personal growth, he humbly gained control of his life
and defeated his addiction.
The remnants of the destruction and feelings
associated with it will always remain with him but his addiction and destructive behaviors
are gone.
During his own recovery and spiritual
surrender he was called to a new purpose....
to use his experiences and the transformation
of his life to help others with their
personal struggles, choice making and
the challenges of recovery.
With God at his side, he knew in his heart what he needed to do....he couldn't get the message out of his mind how he was to use God's word to help others that suffer from the pain and challenges of their addictions.
His writing and creating of the
Compulsive No More! Program and Workbook was a gift that he received from God...and he feels very blessed to share it with YOU!
Coach Scott's professional goals come

A heart filled with a deep meaningful

a story of isolation, pain, and regret.
He is in the process of writing the autobiography
of his life story detailing the events that ultimately crashed his life as he knew it and the forgiveness and grace that rebuilt it.

Coach Scott first began teaching his recovery class
at NorthRidge Church located in his home town
of Plymouth, Michigan.
Coach Scott also works in affiliation with
Dr. Firoza Van Horn, Psy. D. a Licensed local
Neuro/Forensic Psychologist, offering his
Compulsive Addiction Recovery Programs
to her clients.
With Scott's compassionate and caring nature
and his gift of a natural educator you can't help
but be drawn to his teachings and his coaching.....
he is truly empowering!
Scott is a down to earth, matter of fact
kind of guy with a bottom line attitude.
He's an awesome Dad and his value
for family takes first place!
Scott loves spending time with his children.
Some of their favorite pleasures are
swimming, reading fun books, creating crafts
and traveling to Northern Michigan.
Scott enjoys sports, the great outdoors, the
thrill of downhill skiing and the adventures of travel...
He is also a tremendous cook!
One of Scott's favorite places is Disney World!
He is a huge fan of Nascar and had the awesome
opportunity to personally meet Carl Edwards.
As a former High School teacher, Coach Scott
has a passion for speaking to and coaching
teens and young adults.
Scott is an active member of several
professional and nonprofit organizations including:
The Professional Coaches
Association of Michigan,
The International Coaches Federation,
The Christian Coaches Association,
and NorthRidge Church.

"Through my destructive behaviors and
its aftermath,
I came to realize that I was always powerless because I was trying to deal, control and defeat my addiction by myself.
It was an impossible challenge and the proof
was in my history.
After my last arrest and while sitting alone in my car contemplating taking my life, I realized that the only way to survive and go on was to turn my life over to God.....
It was the only way for me!
I prayed to God and asked him to give me the courage and the strength to face my destructive behaviors...
I couldn't do it on my own!
After surrendering to God, praying daily, participating in support groups, and completely committing myself to my personal growth, I humbly gained control of my life and defeated my addiction.
